Private Events & Parties

“Mini Makers” Birthday Parties

 

Ages 7+ are invited to have the coolest birthday party on the coast! Bring your little DIY-ers to enjoy a unique celebration they won’t soon forget. Birthday Parties include all of the materials, tools, and top-notch instruction! Bring your own cake, snacks and drinks. We will take care of the entertainment and clean-up.

Guests will get to take their completed projects home that day! Hostesses are welcome to arrive 30 minutes prior to event for set up. Youth parties include a 3 hour time slot, 30 minutes for setup, 2 hours for the party, and 30 minutes for cleanup. Booking is available for children’s birthday parties on Saturday/Sunday during the day from either 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm*. The minimum amount of 10 children is required to book a party. The cost is $350 for 10 children and each additional child after 10 is $30 each. Please contact us to decide on the perfect date & time for your soiree! *Classes after 5pm have a higher cost and could be dependent on the day of the week, season, etc. Please contact us for details. Rates are subject to change without notice.

All of your guests must create the same TYPE of project (wood project, round door hanger, or pillow), then you can choose the 3 designs that will go on that type of project for all party attendees. Depending on the ages of the children, we can help guide you to which project type will be most suitable!

You will then pay a $100 deposit to reserve your date and pay for the remainder in the studio at the event. All attendees must be registered at least 5 days before the event.

Once you have chosen your project type and designs, paid the deposit and confirmed your date, your event will be added to our calendar. We will then send you an email with registration details and a link to that you can then copy and send to your guests so they can register and choose their design!

-Please note that military discounts cannot be applied to group events.

Adult Private Events

 

Ready to host an over-the-top event? We can provide you with a unique social atmosphere and top-notch DIY instruction for corporate events, bachelorette parties, girls night out, team building events, sports team outings, adult and youth birthday parties, baby showers and fundraisers. Private workshops last from 2-3 hours depending on the project.

We provide all of the materials, tools, and instruction for your workshop! Choose from our Project Portfolio with a variety of mediums to suit your decor!

W&W Design co. is BYOB. You may bring in small snacks or appetizers to enjoy. We provide the cups & corkscrews! (Limited fridge space is available for chilled beverages.)

Baby Showers

Shower your mom to be with your “presence” and presents! We have 2 options:

Option 1- A minimum of 15 people, time slots based on availability on Saturdays or Sundays from 10am-1pm or 1-4pm We provide all of the materials, tools, and instruction for you to have an amazing event! Choose from our Project Portfolio with a variety of mediums to suit your decor! Attendees can pick any project that they would like and have an option to donate monetarily to the mom-to-be’s project at checkout. Most projects range from $35-$95.

You are welcome to decorate the studio however you like, and snacks & games welcome. There is a $50 non-refundable booking fee required to book the date/time.

Option 2- A minimum of 15 people, time slots based on availability on Saturdays or Sundays from 10am-1pm or 1-4pm The cost is $55 per person, this includes their own custom $45 project to take home and also covers the cost of 1 or 2 hand chosen projects for baby/nursery. (Think oversized custom decor, hospital door hanger, over-the-crib statement piece) We will work with each mom to be & come up with the perfect projects to match their nursery/theme. All guests can work together to make these additional nursery items! You are welcome to decorate the studio however you like, and snacks & games welcome. There is a $50 non-refundable booking fee required to book the date/time.

Bridal Showers

Shower your mom to be with your “presence” and presents! Book our studio to celebrate your Bride-to-be! We have 2 party options:

Option 1- A minimum of 15 people, time slots based on availability on Saturdays or Sundays from 10am-1pm or 1-4pm. We provide all of the materials, tools, and instruction for you to have an amazing event! Choose from our Project Portfolio with a variety of mediums to suit your decor! Attendees can pick any project that they would like and have an option to donate monetarily to the bride-to-be’s project(s) at checkout. Most projects range from $35-$95. These 2.5-3 hour private events feature projects for every attendee as well as the opportunity for the bride to be and attendees to create custom wedding signage (think wedding table signage, personalized decor, door hangers…) We will work with each bride to come up with the perfect projects to suite their taste.

Workshops to-GOGH

Enjoy all the perks of a W&W workshop with this “less expensive” option. You take the orders, we will prep your projects and have everythingpacked up and ready to go. All project supplies are provided, you just need a drill or hammer. We can work with you for projects within a ($15-$45 per person budget!) Written step by step Instructions will be provided. All payments/order due 10 days prior to your scheduled pick up date.

Private Party Details

Looking to host the perfect party? Look no further!

We provide all of the materials, tools, and instruction for you to have an amazing event! Choose from our Project Portfolio with a variety of mediums to suit your decor!

Private workshops last from 2-3 hours depending on the project. Children’s parties include a 2 hour workshop timeslot.

Our workshop can hold up to 35 participants making projects (dependent on project sizes), so gather your friends, family or co-workers and contact us for your next event!

Choose a preferred date and time for your private workshop. The workshop is available 7 days a week for private parties, with exception of scheduled classes as shown on our calendar that already have registered attendees. Please contact us for more information!

From January through October, for events Monday through Thursday, our private party minimum is 10 people and there is a 15 person minimum Friday through Sunday. **The private party minimum must be met (participants signed up online) at least 10 days in advance of the party to avoid being opened to the public OR cancelled.** There is a non-refundable $50 private party booking fee that is required for private workshops and parties. This ensures that we will hold the date that you want for your group! (And that we can schedule the most fabulous staff for your group!) 

*Please note that during the Holiday season (Nov 1-Dec 31) our party minimums are divided by day of the week and time of day. Daytime classes are available daily at 2 times, 10am-1pm and 1-4pm. Daytime Classes have private party minimums as follows: 10 people Mon-Fri and 15 people Saturday-Sunday. Evening classes are available daily at 6-9pm. Evening classes have the following private party minimums:  15 people Mon-Thurs and Fri-Sun there is a 20 person minimum. **The private party minimum must be met (participants signed up online) at least 10 days in advance of the party to avoid being opened to the public OR cancelled.** There is a non-refundable $100 private party booking fee that is required for private workshops and parties. This ensures that we will hold the date that you want for your group! (And that we can schedule the most fabulous staff for your group!) 

Can’t meet our minimum? No problem! Ask to book a table for your friends at a public workshop or just register for any workshop and include your friends names at checkout so we can seat you together! Super popular? No problem, our studio holds up to 35 guests.

Most adult projects range from $45-$95 and children’s projects range from $35-$45.

Host & Hostess Duties

Hosts and/or Hostesses will be the main point of contact for booking and correspondence. Once a party deposit has been paid and the party has been setup on our calendar, we will email the host/hostess with registration details for their group. The host/hostess will then be responsible for communicating those registration details to the entire party. It can easily be copied and pasted into a group message, text, or email! The host or hostess will also be responsible for making sure that the party minimum is met. If the minimum is not met, we will contact the host/hostess a week in advance. Hosts and hostesses are also welcome to come up to 30 minutes before the event starts, to decorate or setup any food or drinks!
